I have  worked in health and social care for over 20 years and have become increasingly  disheartened with the way home care and home help services seem to be run, with staff rushing from one call to the next or trying to offer anything meaningful in a 15 minute call.  I decided that I would start my own business, offering the practical assistance and peace of mind that having somebody qualified and DBS checked coming at a time that suits you gives.  We are able to help with the tasks you struggle with.   It could involve anything from help with shopping or household tasks to somebody coming to offer companionship for an hour or two while you family members have some time out.

I have completed my foundation degree in health and social care as well as all the usual courses mandatory for working in the care industry.   I have worked primarily with the elderly, especially those with dementia, although I've also worked with people with learning disabilities, children and end of life care.  Over the years I have worked in a range of setting; care homes, within the community, hospices, hospitals and day centers.  I strongly believe that people are better off remaining in their own homes and maintaining their independence where ever possible and aim to offer a service promoting this.
